Getting My Kicks From Football
Watching the U. of Florida football game on TV, I noticed one off-screen commentator would say something like, "The Gator offense is really struggling," & then the 2nd commentator would say, "Yes, but how about their stellar defense?" At first I thought the 2nd guy was a Gator fan; then I noticed that any negative thing the first man said about ANY team would be given a positive slant by the 2nd fellow. Now THAT'S what I call a winning attitude! It's fun to notice people being deliberately positive in all sorts of contexts.
